Gary Becker is the Chief Economist at Catalyst Partners, LLC, a position he has held since 2015. In this role, he contributes to economic analysis and strategy for the firm.

Prior to his current role, Becker had an extensive career in public service. He served as a Senior Economist at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security for nearly 11 years, from April 2004 to January 2015. Before that, he worked as an Economist for the U.S. Federal Government for 27 years, from 1977 to 2004.
