Gail Saltz is an American psychiatrist, psychoanalyst, columnist, and television commentator. She holds the position of Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at The New York Presbyterian Hospital Weill-Cornell School of Medicine and works as a psychoanalyst with The New York Psychoanalytic Institute. Dr. Saltz maintains a private practice in New York City and serves as health editor at the Child Mind Institute.

As an author, Saltz has written several self-help and psychology books.
