Biography

Francis Joseph "Chiz" Guevara Escudero is a Filipino politician and lawyer. He currently serves as a senator of the Philippines, a position he has held since 2022 and previously from 2007 to 2019. A member of the Nationalist People's Coalition, Escudero served as the 31st president of the Senate of the Philippines from 2024 to 2025. Born into a political family in Manila on October 10, 1969, he was educated at the University of the Philippines.
