Francesco Marconi is the Co-founder and CEO of AppliedXL. He previously held the position of R&D Chief at The Wall Street Journal. His work includes serving as Co-lead of AI & News Automation at The Associated Press.

Marconi is also a Research Affiliate at the MIT Media Lab, specifically within the Laboratory for Social Machines. Earlier in his career, he worked as an Analyst for G77 Early Warning Systems at the United Nations.
