Frances Donald is a Canadian economist currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Chief Economist at the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC). In this role, she provides economic analysis and insights for one of Canada's largest financial institutions.

Prior to joining RBC in 2024, Donald was the Chief Economist at Manulife from 2019. She initially joined Manulife in 2016 as a senior economist and was promoted to Head of Macro-Economic Strategy in 2018.
