Biography

Felipe VI, born Felipe Juan Pablo Alfonso de Todos los Santos de Borbón y Grecia on January 30, 1968, is the King of Spain. He is the third child and only son of Prince Juan Carlos of Spain and Princess Sophia of Greece and Denmark. He was officially proclaimed Prince of Asturias in 1977 and sworn in as heir in 1986.

His education includes studies at Santa María de los Rosales School in Madrid, Lakefield College School in Canada, and law at the Autonomous University of Madrid.
