Felipe Matos is the Secretário de Desenvolvimento Urbano e Licenciamento (Secretary of Urban Development and Licensing) for the City of Recife. In this role, he is involved in urban and economic development initiatives.

Prior to his current position, Matos worked at TPF Engenharia and served as an Intern at DataméTrica. He also holds an Executive MBA from IESE.
