Federica Mogherini is an Italian politician and academic leader. She currently serves as the Rettore of the College of Europe, a post-graduate university for European studies in Bruges, Natolin, and Tirana, a position she was appointed to in 2020. Prior to this, Mogherini held prominent roles within the European Union and the Italian government. From 2014 to 2019, she served as High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission.
