Biography

Fani Taifa Willis is an American attorney and the District Attorney of Fulton County, Georgia, serving since 2021. She is the first woman to hold this office, which encompasses 15 cities, including Atlanta. Willis gained prominence for investigating the 2020 presidential election in Georgia, leading to indictments against Donald Trump and 18 alleged co-conspirators on racketeering and other charges. She also prosecuted rapper Young Thug and members of his YSL record label on similar charges.
