Biography

F. Javier Zarzalejos Nieto is a prominent Spanish politician and civil servant. He currently serves as a Member of the European Parliament for the Popular Group, where he presides over the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE).

His extensive career in public service includes a significant tenure as Secretary General of the Presidency of the Government from 1996 to 2004, appointed by José María Aznar.
