Eugene Kandel is an Israeli economist, serving as the Chairman of the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and Chairman of RISE Israel. He is also the Co-Founder and Chairman of Isfi - Israel Strategic Futures Institute. Kandel holds the title of Professor Emeritus of Economics and Finance at Hebrew University, where he is the Emil Spyer Professor (Emeritus) of Economics and Finance.
