Biography

Esther Lynch is an Irish trade unionist, born in 1963. She currently holds the position of General Secretary of the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC).

Lynch has a background in legal and social affairs, having worked in this capacity at the Irish Congress Trade Unions (Ictu). Her career also includes serving as a Trade Union Official at Ictu and as a Worker Delegate at the International Labour Organization.
