Biography

Erwin Chemerinsky is an American legal scholar and academic, currently serving as the Dean of the UC Berkeley School of Law since 2017. He also holds the title of Jesse H. Choper Distinguished Professor of Law at the institution. Prior to this, he was the inaugural dean of the University of California, Irvine School of Law from 2008 to 2017.
