Erin Mendenhall serves as the Mayor of Salt Lake City, a role she assumed after a career dedicated to public service and air-quality advocacy. Her entry into public service began over 15 years ago, motivated by concerns about air quality's impact on her family.
Prior to becoming Mayor, Mendenhall served two terms on the Salt Lake City Council and chaired the state’s Air Quality Board. She co-founded the non-profit organization Breathe Utah in 2010, transitioning from activism to leadership.
