Eric Schurenberg is the Founder of the Alliance for Trust in Media, an organization he established in 2023 with a mission to restore trust in professional journalism. Through this initiative, researchers work with newsrooms to implement and document innovations aimed at building audience trust. The Alliance also provides media literacy workshops for adults at universities, civic organizations, and workplaces.
