Erica Chenoweth is an American political scientist and professor of public policy. She serves as the Frank Stanton Professor of the First Amendment at Harvard Kennedy School and is the Faculty Dean of Pforzheimer House at Harvard College. She also holds the position of Susan S. and Kenneth L. Wallach Professor at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study.
Chenoweth's research focuses on political violence and its alternatives, including strategic nonviolent resistance.
