Eric S. Rosengren is an American economist known for his extensive career at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, where he served as the thirteenth President and Chief Executive Officer from July 20, 2007, until his retirement on September 30, 2021. In this role, he led an organization of over 1,200 people, focusing on monetary policy research, bank supervision and regulation, community development, and payments innovation.
