Biography

Eoghan Murphy is an Irish former politician who served as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Dublin Bay South constituency from 2011 to 2021. A member of Fine Gael, he held significant ministerial positions, including Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government from 2017 to 2020 and Minister of State for Financial Services from 2016 to 2017.

Prior to his election to Dáil Éireann, Murphy worked in international arms control, focusing on nuclear weapons disarmament.
