Biography

Emmanuel Trinidad Bautista is a distinguished Filipino general who served as the 44th Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, succeeding Gen. Jessie Dellosa. Following his retirement from military service, he was appointed Undersecretary at the Office of the President, Malacañang, from September 1, 2014, to June 22, 2020. In this capacity, he served as the Executive Director of the Cabinet Cluster on Security, Justice, and Peace.
