Emily Fairfax is an American ecohydrologist and Associate Professor of Geography at the University of Minnesota. She is passionate about scientific discovery and exploration, a drive she has held since childhood.
Her current research focuses on beaver dams and their hydrologic and geomorphic impacts. She studies how beavers create drought-resilient landscapes, furthering her research through both field work and computer modeling.
