Emily Laidlaw is a Canada Research Chair in Cybersecurity Law and an Associate Professor of Law at the University of Calgary. In this role, she teaches internet, privacy, and cybersecurity law. Her research and consultation work focuses on the regulation of information and communication technologies, privacy, cybersecurity, social media, defamation, and human rights.
