Emily Pilloton-Lam is an American architectural designer, builder, educator, and author, best known as the Founder and Executive Director of Girls Garage. Through this nonprofit, she has taught thousands of young girls and gender-expansive youth how to use power tools, weld, and construct projects that benefit their communities. Her work and ideas have been featured on platforms such as the TED stage, The Colbert Report, CNN, and in the 2013 documentary film *If You Build It*.
