Emily Chan Tan is an Anchor and Senior Correspondent at CNBC, where she focuses on "The China Connection." She has accumulated over 18 years of experience at CNBC, having initially joined the organization as an Assistant Producer in June 2000, a role she held until October 2002.

Prior to her extensive tenure at CNBC, Tan served as an Anchor & Senior Reporter at TVB from February 2003 to May 2007. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism.
