Emil Joseph Bove III is an American attorney who serves as a United States circuit judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, a position he has held since September 2025. Prior to his judicial appointment, Bove held significant roles within the Department of Justice, including Principal Associate Deputy Attorney General from January to September 2025, and Acting United States Deputy Attorney General from January to March 2025.
