Ellen Meade is a Research Professor in the Economics Department at Duke University, a position she has held since July 2022. Prior to joining Duke, she spent 25 years at the Federal Reserve Board, where she served as a Special Adviser to the Board of Governors and Vice Chair Richard Clarida, as well as a Senior Adviser in the Division of Monetary Affairs.
From 2011 to 2021, Meade's work at the Federal Reserve focused primarily on monetary policy and communications.
