Elizabeth Kelly is the Head of Beneficial Deployments at Anthropic, a position she has held since 2025. In this role, she focuses on ensuring the responsible and beneficial deployment of AI technologies.
Prior to her current role, Kelly held significant positions in the U.S. government. She served as the Director of the U.S. AI Safety Institute at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) from February 2024 to February 2025.
