Elham Tabassi is an engineer and government leader known for her contributions to artificial intelligence. She currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer for the United States AI Safety Institute, an organization created in 2024, where she leads technical programs focused on developing and deploying safe, secure, and trustworthy AI. Additionally, Tabassi is a Senior Fellow and Director for the AI and Emerging Tech Initiative at the Brookings Institution.
