Effy Vayena is a Greek and Swiss bioethicist, holding the Chair of Bioethics at the Swiss Institute of Technology in Zurich, ETH Zurich, since 2017. She also serves as the Associate Vice President for Digital Transformation & Governance at ETH Zurich and is a Co-Director at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Bioethics Academy. Her expertise spans digital health ethics, health data governance, personalized medicine ethics, research ethics, ethics of genomics, and digital bioethics.
