Edward Ahmed Mitchell is the Deputy Director at the Council on American-Islamic Relations National Headquarters. His career includes significant leadership roles in legal and advocacy organizations.
Prior to his current position, Mitchell served as President of the National Association of Muslim Lawyers and as Executive Director of Cair-Georgia. He also gained experience as a Prosecutor for the City of Atlanta and worked as a Freelance Reporter for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
