Biography

Eduardo Javier Rubio Köstner, born on November 7, 1983, is a Chilean football manager and former professional player. He began his playing career with Universidad Católica, making his debut in 2002 against Unión Española, and remained with the club for five years.

Rubio's club career included a move to Mexico to play for Cruz Azul in 2007, followed by a year-long loan to Colo-Colo in Chile. In 2008, he signed a one-year loan deal with Swiss Super League Champions FC Basel.
