I joined Manchester in 2018 as Presidential Fellow in Economic Cultures, before becoming Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in 2022 and Professor in 2024. I am also Director of the Centre for Economic Cultures, a research cluster that draws together scholars from across the university to advance an interdisciplinary agenda to better understand economic life in the past, present and future.
