Biography

Edi Rama is an Albanian politician, artist, and writer who has served as prime minister of Albania since 2013. He is the only Albanian prime minister to have won four consecutive terms, leading a coalition of centre-left parties to victory in the 2013, 2017, 2021, and 2025 parliamentary elections. Rama has also been the chairman of the Socialist Party of Albania since 2005.
