Ethan Bloch developed an early interest in finance, day-trading at age 13 during the dot-com and telecom boom. After his first startup, Flowtown, was acquired, he focused on making personal finance management easier for individuals.
This led him to build Digit, a company designed to provide financial guidance typically reserved for the wealthy. Digit successfully pioneered automated saving, helping users save $9 billion, and was later sold for over $230 million.
