Biography

Eben Bayer pioneered the field of mycelium-based materials in 2006, founding Ecovative and MyForest Foods. His mission is to support life on "Spaceship Earth" through biological technology, developing innovative, planet-friendly solutions.

As CEO of Ecovative Design since 2007, Bayer leads the company in harnessing biology for applications such as sustainable packaging, mycelium leather, and plant-based foods. He also serves as Board Chair at Ecovative, a position he has held since 2007.
