Andrew David Endy, born in 1970, is a synthetic biologist and associate professor of bioengineering at Stanford University, where he moved in 2008. He also holds a position as a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution. Earlier in his career, he was an Assistant Professor of Biological Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2002 to 2008, following his PhD in genetic engineering from Dartmouth College in 1997.
