Dr. Ulrich Quay is a Partner at the NATO Innovation Fund (NIF), a role he assumed in August 2025. At NIF, he focuses on investment areas critical to collective security, including energy, materials science, artificial intelligence, data and computing, autonomy, quantum computing, biotechnology, and space.
Prior to his current role, Dr. Quay founded and served as Managing Partner of BMW i Ventures from July 2011 to June 2021.
