Biography

Dr. Franziska Brantner is a prominent German politician and a member of the Green Party. Since 2024, she has served as co-leader of Alliance 90/The Greens, alongside Felix Banaszak. She has been a Member of the German Parliament (MdB) since 2013, representing Heidelberg Neckar/Bergstraße.

From 2021 to 2025, Dr. Brantner held the position of Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action in Chancellor Olaf Scholz's coalition government.
