Biography

Apostolos Thomadakis is the Head of Research at the European Capital Markets Institute (ECMI) and leads the Financial Markets & Institutions Unit at the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS). In these roles, he focuses on research related to financial and capital markets.

His career history includes experience as a Visiting Scholar at Oesterreichische Nationalbank and Lietuvos Bankas | Bank Of Lithuania, where he worked in the Applied Macroeconomic Research Division.
