Douglas Holtz-Eakin is an American economist with a distinguished career spanning academia, government, and public policy. He currently serves as the President of the American Action Forum, a conservative advocacy group focused on fiscal and public policy issues, a role he assumed in early 2010 after founding the think tank.
Holtz-Eakin established his academic career with appointments at Princeton University (1984–89) and Columbia University (1985–90).
