Biography

Donald Sternoff Beyer Jr. is an American politician, businessman, and diplomat. He currently serves as the U.S. Representative for Virginia's 8th congressional district, a position he has held since 2015. A member of the Democratic Party, his district encompasses Northern Virginia, including Alexandria, Falls Church, Arlington, and parts of eastern Fairfax County. He has been reelected five times, most recently in 2024.
