Biography

David Miliband is a British former politician and the current President and CEO of the International Rescue Committee (IRC). In this role since 2013, he leads the agency's humanitarian relief operations across more than 40 war-affected countries and its refugee resettlement and assistance programs in 29 cities across the United States.

Miliband's career in public service began at the Institute for Public Policy Research.
