Dr. Diva Amon is a Caribbean marine biologist, scientific consultant, and communicator focused on the little-known habitats and animals of the deep ocean. She works at the nexus of science, policy, and communication, aiming to foster greater stewardship of the deep ocean and broader engagement in its conservation. She is currently a Freelance Marine Biologist & Scientific Consultant and a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Benioff Ocean Initiative at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
