DeShuna Spencer is the Founder and CEO of kweliTV, Inc., a black-owned streaming platform she has led since 2017. She is also the Creator and Curator of DEI Watch, a role she has held since 2025.
Prior to her entrepreneurial ventures, Spencer was a radio host and producer for emPower Hour on Washington, DC’s 89.3 FM WPFW from 2014 to 2019, where she examined social justice issues. She also served as the Founding Publisher of emPower magazine from 2008 to 2017.
