Dean Fearing is an American chef and restaurateur, widely recognized as the "Father of Southwestern Cuisine." He is the Chef/Owner of Fearing's Restaurant, which he established in 2007 in partnership with Ritz-Carlton. An accomplished James Beard Award winner and cookbook author, Fearing's Restaurant has earned critical acclaim, including "Restaurant of the Year" and "Table of the Year" by Esquire Magazine, and was ranked #1 in Hotel Dining in the U.
