Biography

Daymond Garfield John (born February 23, 1969) is an American businessman, investor, and television personality. He is the founder, president, and chief executive officer of FUBU, and the founder and CEO of The Shark Group. Since 2009, he has also served as an investor on ABC's reality television series, Shark Tank.

John began his entrepreneurial journey from his mother's house in Hollis, Queens, where he started FUBU in 1992. He initially sewed hats and T-shirts, selling them for $10 each.
