David Martijn van Weel, born on August 4, 1976, is a Dutch civil servant and diplomat. He currently serves as the Minister of Justice and Security for The Netherlands, a position he has held since February 2026. Prior to this, he also served as the Minister of Asylum and Migration within the Dutch government.

Beyond his national ministerial duties, van Weel has held significant roles within NATO.
