David Schäfer serves as a Team Leader for the Connecting Europe Facility for Energy (CEF-E), a key European Union budget instrument dedicated to developing and upgrading cross-border energy infrastructure. In this capacity, he plays a role in fostering greater connectivity and integration of energy networks across EU member states.
Additionally, Schäfer holds the position of Policy Officer within the Green Deal unit of the European Commission's Secretariat-General.
