Biography

David Roux is an American businessman, technology investor, and philanthropist. He is currently the managing partner of BayPine, an investment firm he founded in 2020 with Anjan Mukherjee. Prior to establishing BayPine, Roux co-founded Silver Lake Partners in 1999 alongside Jim Davidson, Glenn Hutchins, and Roger McNamee.

Roux's career includes founding Datext, where he served as CEO before its acquisition by Lotus Software.
