David Neumark is a Chancellor's Professor of Economics at the University of California, Irvine, a position he has held since 2005. He also directs the Economic Self-Sufficiency Policy Research Institute at the university. Prior to his tenure at UC Irvine, Neumark served as a Professor of Economics at Michigan State University from 1994 to 2004 and as an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Pennsylvania from 1989 to 1994.
