David Nemazee is an immunologist and professor at the Scripps Research Institute. His research focuses on critical aspects of the immune system, including self/non-self discrimination, the development of germline-reverted broadly neutralizing antibodies for vaccine research, and the mechanisms of B cell immune tolerance.
For his significant contributions to the field, particularly his work on B cell immune tolerance, Nemazee was awarded the 2025 Crafoord Prize in polyarthritis research.
